Himsan Polymer offers Platinum Cured Silicone Tubings which have outstanding resistance to temperature extremes and is made from FDA-sanctioned ingredients. Our Tubing is a platinum-cured product, contains no sulphur, no peroxides or other acid-producing chemicals thereby eliminating the possibility of staining, corroding, or deteriorating other materials it contacts. It is also resistant to ozone and U.V. over long time periods.

Features like ultra-low extractables and longer pump life were engineered into our tubings by the experienced rubber technologist to meet the stringent requirements of the bio-pharmaceutical market.

Our tubings ensure that contamination by extractables is kept to an absolute minimum, and the formulation imparts no taste or odors. Himsan Polymer’s silicone tubing is known for its superior pump life.

Tubing may be low pressure steam sterilized in-line or autoclaved at up to 250°F in a normal autoclaving cycle. However, if exposed to repeated steam sterilization or long-term high temperature or pressure, silicone will eventually relax and become gummy. It should then be replaced

Unlike traditional peroxide cured silicone, platinum is free of ketones and peroxide, improving clarity and taste and making it ideal for use in Medical, Food and Drink (Vending) and Dairy industries, where non-tainting of the product is paramount
